Every Effort Helps

SEWA-Asian Indian Family Wellness was formed by a small group of concerned people, dedicated to serving the Indian community in Minnesota. SEWA is a volunteer based organization and depends on its volunteers to serve and help the Indian community.

In Hindi, SEWA means “to serve.” Volunteering for SEWA-AIFW is a great way to serve and help the Asian-Indian community in Minnesota! There are many things, big and small, that volunteers do with SEWA to create change and serve the Indian community.

Volunteering with SEWA-AIFW

Volunteering can be a rewarding experience. Through volunteering with SEWA you will be able to serve the Indian community in a variety of ways, such as working to empower women, decreasing the social isolation of our seniors, and helping recent immigrants find resources and adjust to life in Minnesota.

If you are a caring person, passionate about helping and empowering women of the Asian-Indian community in Minnesota and wish to volunteer, please contact us to help make a difference in someone’s life.
