Volunteer Positions

SEWA-AIFW has a number of open volunteer positions in all our programs. SEWA volunteers can choose to volunteer in as few or as many programs as they wish!
Please let the volunteer coordinator know if you are interested in working in one of these programs:

Volunteer Positions:

  • Asian-Indian Elder’s Program:

    • Volunteers will assist in planning the Senior Holiday Dinner.

    • Volunteers will meet with the Asian-Indian seniors in the group to discuss their needs for social activities and service needs.

    • Volunteers will be responsible for planning activities for the seniors.

  • Health Initiative:

    • Volunteers are needed to begin networking with doctors and other service providers in the Asian-Indian community.

    • Volunteers will also be responsible for setting up health clinics at various community events and locations.

  • Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign:

    • Responsible for outreach to the community about human trafficking.

    • Volunteers will assist the Resource Coordinator in developing training sessions about human trafficking.

    • Volunteers will also assist in providing training about human trafficking to the local community and local police and social service agencies.

  • Office Assistance:

    • Volunteers are needed to assist the Advocate and Resource Coordinator in the office.

    • Volunteers will be responsible for researching referral services and updating the SEWA website.
