Wednesday, May 20, 2009 FEDERAL FUNDS TO RESCUE MINNESOTA'S HUMAN SLAVES The Funds Will Also Save Some Small Ethnic Organizations! PRESS CONFERENCE on TH URSDAY Bukola, an international human trafficking victim, will speak She was rescued and restored in Minnesota by Civil Society with the help of other partners in the Rescue and Restore Campaign. Saint Paul, Minnesota: A Press Conference will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 12:00 noon in Room 125 of the State Capitol Building. Congresswoman Betty McCollum called Civil Society to say that HUMAN SEX and LABOR SLAVES will continue to be rescued and restored in Minnesota! The United States Department of Health and Human Services has announced funding for Civil Society and its partners who have rescued and restored the most human trafficking victims in Minnesota Civil Society, Raj Chaudhary and Kalpana Rizal of SEWA-AIFW, Josephine Pufpaff of YouthLink, Bihi Abdirizak of Somali Education and Social Advocacy Center, and Franklin Briceno of La Conexion will speak about how they have worked to rescue human slavery victims, to ensure that they will be safe and secure, and eligible for federal benefits.
