BusyMomsTelecons (BMTC) FAQ

What is BusyMomsTelecons (BMTC) about?
It is about meeting the unmet needs of a busy mother. BMTC is about busy mothers connecting with each other to participate in no-cost teleconference-based webinar presentations from the comforts of home, to engage in intellectual discussions and to get an opportunity to express talents that get buried under the banner of parenthood.

Our Activities at BusyMomsTelecons
Our group “meets” on the first Sunday of every month. We dial-in to participate in active discussions and presentations over the phone. So we get the advantage of listening to useful information from our homes, without having to step outside the house. This helps us find guilt-free time for our intellectual pursuits and connect with other busy Moms. For a list of past presentations, visit our blog at www.busymomstelecons.blogspot.com

Who are our speakers?
Our speakers are either a part of our in-house talent; a knowledgeable and talented mother from the group or an invited speaker who specializes in the topic the group is interested in learning about.

How do we choose webinar / discussion topics?
Topics are need-based and are typically suggested by group members. We periodically ask members for a short list of topics that they are interested in and invite presenters accordingly.

Who can participate in the monthly teleconferences?
Busy mothers with the urge to connect with other moms for personal and professional enrichment can participate in these exciting webinars. We strongly believe in sharing knowledge and gaining knowledge. People from any state in the USA can participate.

How to participate in the webinars?
Interested and enthusiastic mothers can email us at busymoms.telecons@gmail.com to RSVP and to get the dial-in number and access code to the webinars. You will be added to our email list and webinar details will be emailed to you.

Are there any costs involved in attending the teleconference?
No. The teleconference is free of cost. You only pay your telephone provider your phone charges for long-distance call you will make in order to dial-in. We do not have a toll-free dial-in number.
